Advent Retreat – Hope, Peace, Joy and Love

So stay. Sit. Linger. Tarry. Ponder. Wait. Behold. Wonder.
There will be time enough for running.
For rushing.  For worrying.  For pushing.
For now, stay.  Wait.
Something is on the horizon.
-Jan Richardson

Journey with us through the season of Advent as we become aware of God’s presence and the grace of waiting for something on the horizon. In this Advent season, we open to the wonder of God’s Love and desire to be with us.

This 2-night retreat will weave the four themes of Advent: Hope, Peace, Joy and Love as we prepare our hearts and minds for the season of Christmas.  The time offers opportunities for rest, reflection, prayer, meditation, journaling and mindfulness; weaving together meditative music, scripture, modern wisdom, reflective questions, walks in nature and time to just be.

Advent and preparation for Christmas, for the coming of Christ, always involves waiting, allowing time to birth with Hope, Peace, Joy and Love.  The season of Advent means there is something on the horizon the likes of which we have never seen before…
